Tactic #2 Making engaging reels
Reels generate 55% more interactions than single-image posts on Instagram. It’s a no brainer that you should make at least one reel per week to improve your account’s reach. While there is not secret sauce of viral reels, here are some recommendations you can apply to make your reels engage a wider audience and elevate your Instagram strategy:
👉 Use trending audios : the power of music is undeniable. Use it to your advantage by adding viral audios to your reels. By searching for videos featuring viral audios, people will get to discover your reel and your brand. To find trending audios, scroll through dedicated Reels tab until you see an audio with an upward arrow.
👉 Make the first 3 seconds captivating : remember, your reels are not movies. Be short and sweet because you only have 3 seconds to hook your audience’s attention before they decided whether to continue watching.
👉Use the Instagram Reel templates to create incredible reels for your business in short time. Browse the template you like, add your own clips, videos or photos relevant to your reel and finally edit and customize you reel by adding text, stickers, or effects.

Example 1: trending audios
There are many ways to find trending audios.
- 1- Through the reel search tab
- 2- Through the Instagram reel templates with the song already added.
- 3- Through the music feature when you want to add an audio to your reel.
Example 2: Reel templates
As you can see in this reel template, every clip lasts 0,5 second. Choose only the content you judge relevant to the subject of you reel to ensure it engages your target audience.
Example 3: Reel hook
In the first 2 seconds, I announced right away the subject of my reel to captivate my audience's attention. This was also the title of my reel cover which completely aligns with its content and the first line of my caption.

⭐ Create style guidelines for your social media accounts to ensure consistencyand establish a memorable and recognizable brand. This includes your brand’s color palette, fonts, visual elements, tone of voice, selected hashtags and emojis.
⭐ Triple your hooks : include your hook in the first 3 seconds of your reel, in your reel cover, and in the first line of your caption.
Tactic #3 Leverage your stories
Stories are crafted for storytelling. They are definitely one of the most effectiveformats for captivating your audience’s attention. They are easy to create and easy to consume. Here are my tactics for to elevate your Instagram strategy :
👉 Tell a story: create curiosity, intrigue and intensifying desire in your audience to know more and take action. You can unfold your story across multiple cards, and hold your audience attention from start to finish. A great way to make people spend more time on your profile and consume more of your content.
👉 Prompt people to interact with your stories : stories are designed for interactions. When your visitors engage with your stories, the algorithm works its magic and shows your content to your followers and similar audiences more frequently . A smart approach to expand your reach.
👉 Add hashtags : yes, Hashtags can be added into stories as well. They help your story get featured in a specific location or be associated with a specific topic.

There are many ways to tell a story. Focus on creating two positively intense moments in your storytelling, one at the beginning, one at the end. Here is an example of stories I made for 360 Digital Marketing Tale's Instagram account.
Example 2: encourage interactions
The more engagement you get for any type of content you publish, the more you improve your chances to skyrocket your reach. Stories are made for interactions, use it to your advantage. Add questions, poll, quizz, emoji reaction sticker, there are plenty of options.
